Known to some as the "Queen of Englewood" and considered by some the Lauryn Hill of Chicago, is that of the rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer Nikki Lynette. With joints like: Now That I'm Fine and Ooh Mommy, she breaks the mold of blending genres. She's said herself her foundation is R&B, Hip Hop and Alternative Rock, these two embrace all three. She enjoys not being all the be placed inside a box of just one genre, rather embrace all three and take the best parts of each. Currently working on a mixtape, Nikki is setting herself apart from the rest.
